Feb and March madness
So, I haven't been able to write a post in a while. There have been so many things going on in my life now. It almost seemed like I was in a hole and couldn't climb out. At least now, I have started get a hang on my busy schedule. I realized I had to prioritize the activities that were most important. So I decided to share with you guys a some tips that might help with the madness in our lives. ;)
1. Plan your schedule for the day.
I started writing down on a piece of paper what I wanted to accomplish for the day. It is almost like a to- do list, but not as long as my actual one. I also categorized them according to importance and when that project is due or necessary.
2. Spending less time on facebook and twitter.
I admit that I am an addict of facebook and twitter. I would check them at least 3 times a day. I had to tell myself that checking my facebook or twitter once every other day is all I need. After spending less time on those sites, I realized how many things I could accomplish. Facebook and Twitter take up so much time, and you don't really realized it until you reduce your time on them.
3.Getting more rest.
I realized that not getting enough sleep, was not exactly helping me with all my activities I have to accomplish. I would constantly be yawning throughout the day and could not focus on the task I had at hand. When I started getting more rest, I started noticing a change in my focus and tasks. I did things more efficiently. It is important to get at least eight hours of sleep.
4. De-stressing
All of us have stress in our lives. Sometimes we feel as if we will never get anything accomplished because of all our task. I realized sometimes you need to take a break from a task or chore. When I was stressed, if I kept trying to do a bunch of chores or something that gave me a hard time, the stress would get worse. When the stress got worse, I couldn't finish or concentrate on the task. So, I started taking short breaks. I would go out and walk my dog, or go listen to some relaxing music. Then when my mind was clear, I would go back to my chores. I could concentrate better and I didn't feel stressed. So the next time you feel frustrated or extremely stressed, take a breather. Go take a walk, talk with your friends, make a cake, or anything you enjoy to take your mind off of the task that is frustrating you. Then when you feel better, go back conquer that chore. =)
I hope these tips help with any March or anytime madness that may be approaching. Catch you guys later! =))

Habits that cause acne.
Hi guys! Okay...we already have so much stuff to deal with in our everyday lives. Acne issues just make it even more hard to deal with. Today I am going to talk about habits that we do that contribute or may cause acne.
What causes acne?
A. Acne is caused when the pores of your skin become clogged. These can be clogged by dirt, bacteria, and oil. Acne start when we hit puberty. Sometimes when our hormones start to change, our oil glands produce too much oil causing our pores to be blocked by the oil.
Here are habits that may be causing your acne.
1. Over washing and exfoliation of the face.
Sometimes when you wash or exfoliate too much, your body senses that the skin needs moisture. It will then tell your glands to produce more oil to moisturize your face.
2.Going to sleep with makeup on.
It is never good to sleep with your makeup on. Yes, I know that sometimes we get lazy or we completely forget. I admit that I have done this in the past, but when you sleep with makeup on your pores are being clogged with that day's grease and makeup. You need to let your skin breathe. During our sleep is when our skin repairs itself.
3. Cell phones
Cell phones have bacteria all over them. We tote them around wherever we go and place them on top of dirty counter or tables. If you have a touch screen, you are consistently touching the screen of you phone. Dirt, Bacteria, and oil is then carried from your phone to your face when you talk on it. A lot of acne along to jaw line is caused by your cell phone. You need to clean your phone with a disinfectant wipe on a regular basis.
4. Touching your face.
I know that when I am in class, sometimes, I will rest my chin on my hand. After awhile, I started noticing a lot of acne on that one side my face. When stopped this habit, the acne went away. The acne was caused from oil and bacteria on my hand.
Now even if you stop all these bad habits, You will still have some acne. That is how our bodies our made and we can't really stop it. These are just tips that may help control the issue a little bit. I will post a video soon about these habits and more. I hope this was helpful. =)
